Peter Kyncl and Guenther Schaller head up an international architectural firm with offices in Zurich (Switzerland), Stuttgart (Germany). The firm was founded in 1975; its present constellation was established in 2005.
Peter Kyncl and Guenther Schaller have worked across the entire range of public and private buildings: large residential developments, highly exclusive commissions, council housing, family homes, commercial centres and office buildings, projects for public clients such as schools and facilities for sports, recreation, culture and entertainment, indoor arenas, swimming pools and museums, research facilities, hotels, multipurpose developments, shopping malls, shop and landscape designs and infrastructure facilities. Creating genuinely sustainable living environments by viewing a project in its entirety is one of the most important goals of the practice.
In keeping with this philosophy, the practice has a highly qualified international staff, well experienced in all fields of architecture. Beside German and English, a wide range of other languages are spoken at the offices. In addition, the office has formed several strategic partnerships with architectural and engineering firms, at home as well as abroad. To ensure that the professional skills and expertise always represent the state of the art, the firm and its staff are involved in ongoing further training in architecture as well as science and research.

Guenther Schaller is a member of the Chamber of Architects Baden-Württemberg, the German Federation of Architects (BDA Bund Deutscher Architekten ) and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
